Youth Development and Talented Player Pathways

Many of our players aspire to be the best and have a dream to play in the EPL for Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and the like or indeed want to be a Socceroo.
We fully embrace and encourage these hopes and ambitions and wanted to answer one of our recent U11 SAP player’s questions of how a player at Holland Park Hawks might get scouted and picked to play for a professional club.
Our Club TD Mark has been involved as a full time professional in football for over 25 years in Australia. Mark is a qualified FFA Course Presenter, holds an AFC A Licence and C Youth Licence, himself played at State Rep level junior through senior, had a scholarship to the AIS, and has worked for FQ and the FFA in multiples roles.
