We are proud to bring together the expertise of former Brisbane Roar player Josh Brindell-South and former New Zealand International Matt Ridenton, who will be leading these exciting training sessions.

Our new program aims to offer a unique learning experience led by two accomplished professionals in the football industry. With Josh Brindell-South and Matt Ridenton at the helm, players will have the privilege of learning from individuals who have honed their skills at the highest levels of the game.

Josh Brindell-South:
Josh Brindell South, a former player of Brisbane Roar, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the program. Having played in the Australian A-League, Josh possesses a deep understanding of the game’s intricacies and has mastered various aspects of football. His passion for teaching and mentoring young talents is evident, and players can look forward to benefiting from his vast knowledge and insights.

Matt Ridenton:
Joining Josh Brindell South is Matt Ridenton, a former New Zealand International player. With his international experience and a successful career in professional football, Matt offers valuable insights and techniques that players can incorporate into their own game. His dedication to the sport and his commitment to helping players reach their full potential make him an invaluable addition to our training program.

Program Highlights:
The extra training program at Holland Park Hawks is designed to provide a comprehensive and structured curriculum that covers essential areas of football development and are tailored to the individuals needs. Here are some of the highlights participants can expect:

1. Skill Enhancement: The program focuses on refining technical abilities and has a high emphasis on ball mastery and manipulation that will give players the necessary tools to master their game.

2. Movement Development: Players will be exposed to a range of movement patterns which are highly transferrable to the game. This program will target players movement mechanics and make them more efficient in their movement both on and off the ball

3. Functional Practices: Players will be exposed to a range of functional practices that not only provide a high volume or repetition but are also highly relevant to situations which players are often exposed to in game situations.

Program Information:
The extra training program is open to all players who aspire to enhance their skills and take their game to the next level. Sessions are delivered in small groups with a maximum of four players. This 9 week program will be delivered in Term 3 beginning the week of the 17th July 2023.

Venue: Whites Hill Reserve

Cost: $450 for a 9-week training block.

The introduction of the exclusive extra training program at Holland Park Hawks marks an exciting milestone in our commitment to nurturing the talents of our players. With the expertise of former Brisbane Roar player Josh Brindell-South and former New Zealand International Matt Ridenton, participants will receive top-quality coaching and guidance to enhance their skills. We are currently fielding expressions of interest for the program until 30th June 2023. Registrations will open on July 1st for the Program with finalized timeslots for the term.
