Metro Academy
U8 - U13
The Hawks Metro Academy Program underpins the FQ Academy program and allows the club to offer a wider range of development opportunities to our players. This bridges the gap between juniors in the community space and the FQ Academy. The purpose of the Metro Academy is to create a clear pathway into the FQ Academy for our aspiring juniors.
The program is overseen by the football clubs Technical Director and follows a similar syllabus to the FQ Academy. This allows the football club to develop a wider pool of players and there is depth in the program for players from Metro Academy to step up into the FQ Academy space.
The Metro Academy teams compete in the highest level of community competition available in the players respective age group.
Coaches in this space are required to have a minimum of a Community Skills Training Certificate.
Over the coming years the Football Club’s aim is to continue to expand the offering of Metro Academy sides across the juniors.
