The primary objective of the Girls Emerging Program (U8 – U9) is to enhance coaching and support standards, catering specifically to young female players within the under-8 to under-9 age range. This comprehensive program is designed to create a dynamic and inclusive environment that nurtures individual skill development while fostering a strong sense of community within the club.
Includes:
- Access to MiniRoos Lead Coaches (Volunteer/Paid) on training nights, headed by the Girls Coordinator.
- Players will follow a specific training syllabus with key learning outcomes as guided by the Junior Director.
- Entirety of the program delivered by Girls Coordinator.
- Game Days will come under the instruction and facilitated by volunteer Game Leaders.
- Players will be awarded a Trophy at the end of the season.
Age: For players who turn 8 or 9 within the seasons calendar year.

In-Season Block: Wednesday April 17th 2024 – Saturday September 7th 2024.
Training: Wednesday Night 5:00pm – 6:00pm at Whites Hill Reserve, Field 1
Uniform: Players are required to purchase a community playing shirt, red playing socks, and black shorts.
Fixtures: Played at Whites Hill Reserve, unless advised on Saturday’s.

Number of Players: 7-a-side
Field Dimensions: 40m long x 30m wide minimum, 45m long x 35m wide best practice, 50m long x 40m wide.
Goal Size: 3m wide x 2m high
Ball Size: Size 3
Game Duration: 20min halves, 5min half-time
Penalty area: 5m deep x 15m wide
