FQ Miniroos

Introduction

  • U9 – born 2013
  • U10 – born 2012
  • U11 – born 2011

Teams are usually made up of boys and girls.  Girls only teams can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.

Boys only and mixed teams are placed in the boys competition.  Girls only teams are placed in a girls-only competition.

Teams play home and away per Football Queensland fixtures.

A Volunteer Team Coach is required.

If you are happy to volunteer for this role at registration please let us know at office@hphawksfc.com.au and we will add you to our list.  Previous experience preferred but not required;

    • The volunteer team coach will take the team game days and training sessions
    • Please see our coaches guide for further information – coaches guide
    • Coaches will be supported with training and games during the season by our Junior Development Officer
    • Coaches will be invited to attend coach training sessions held in-house or by Football Queensland

Each team will also need to appoint a Volunteer Team Manager;

Registration Fee

  • U9 – $510
  • U10 – $540
  • U11 – $540
    • fees are inclusive of all match fees
    • uniforms are available for purchase (see below).

Training

Training Schedule 

1 night per week.

Each team will be supplied with a training pack consisting of balls, bibs, and cones. Other equipment such as hurdles, ladders poles and goals will be available on the day as required.

The season starts running from April to September with breaks for school holidays.

Uniform

Last season, Hawks FC playing jerseys can be worn on game days.  Hawks FC Training jerseys are optional.

Black shorts, red socks, and shin-pads make up the playing uniform.

Uniform Items (including playing jerseys and training jerseys) can be purchased in person on Muster Day, via the canteen on game day or from our pop-up uniform shop manned by volunteers.

2022 Fixtures

Fixtures are controlled by Football Queensland and are not usually announced until March once all registrations have closed and teams are nominated and confirmed by clubs.
