Congratulations to Marek Madle

Congratulations to Marek Madle

As most of you know, Marek Madle has been with the Holland Park Hawks for 3 years in our Senior Team.  He has consistently proved to be an outstanding player and is currently on top of the FQPL ladder board with 23 goals so far this season, which is no mean feat.

Understandably, this type of form puts him in the headlines and his recent trial at the A League Central Coast Mariners only served to increase this exposure to his benefit.

We are very proud, and also very sad, to announce that Marek has been approached, and has accepted an offer, to move to the Lions FC who are a top placed, local National Premier League (NPL) Team.

Joe Fenech, our Technical Director, is thrilled that Marek has been given this opportunity to move up into the NPL;

“ Marek has been a standout in the FQPL and as a result he has attracted much interest from clubs both in Queensland and interstate. It goes without saying that Marek will be sorely missed in the Hawks First team but everyone at the club wishes him well”

This is a fantastic opportunity for Marek to follow his football dream and we wish him every success.

We are also pleased to confirm that Marek will continue in his role at the Hawks as our Sports Administrator and U11 SAP Coach so please feel free to wish him well in person when you see him around the fields.

And further to the above notice we can inform you that Marek played his first game for the Lions FC on Saturday night only to score his debut and the winning goal!  Well done, Marek!!
