The Volunteer Executive Committee
It is not the role of the committee to run the club … it is the role of the committee to ensure the club is run.
A club committee is the group of people, elected according to the rules or constitution of the club, to run the club on behalf of the members to achieve the goals and objectives of the club.
The Australian Institute of Company Directors state that “to be effective a board needs the right group of people, with an appropriate mix of skills, knowledge and experience…..that fits with the organisation’s objectives and strategic goals.”
The Holland Park Hawks FC Executive Committee will meet at least once per month in 2019. Position Descriptions are included below for your information – click on the link supplied.
We are also looking to establish a broader group of sub-committees to include Sponsorships, Fundraising, Communication (incl. Social Media and Marketing) and Grants. If you do not wish to join the main committee but would like to offer your time and skills to these areas please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
